As Area Manager you will be responsible for Rémy Cointreau portfolio development and safeguard the brand image within his region, to deliver profitable development of the company’s business through Volume/value budgets and whilst developing and maintaining good working relationship with the buyers / the distributors / key accounts.
You will have to establish strong relationships with our partners and maintain brand direction and image of Remy Cointreau’s portfolio, build a three-year plan for India and working with Zone Director (Local Market & Global Travel Retail) navigate the opportunities to opening a Rémy Cointreau entity in India, explore on / off trade & GTR opportunities while increasing our visibility and distribution,
You will set up sales targets and ensure objectives are achieved, take responsibility for the implementation of brand plans in line with Brand guidelines, monitor partners stock and manage sell out depletions, monitor and report on any new activities undertaken by customers or competitors,
You will ensure that all legal aspects are adhered too in accordance with RC and local requirements,
You will have to manage a Team dedicated to ISC Airports while elevating the client experience.
You will define and develop specific plans to ensure growth of the portfolio and brands market share with the help of Regional Marketing Manager,
You will update your partners with information on new products, POS , and global platforms,
You will implement various Brand plans and execute as per brand guidelines, create monthly reports and send in on time.
You will also manage A&P budget, merchandising for GTR in collaboration with GTR Regional Trade Marketing Manager.
You will monitor the competition within your territory under your scope.
You will ensure Monthly/Quarterly reporting and preparation and delivery of the annual Africa & India Ocean Budget,
You will provide Sales Forecast IBP accurately monthly, quarterly and annually.
With a professional degree in Business/Marketing, you have a minimum of 6 years of experience in sales and marketing environment of FMCG and/or Luxury companies,
Ideally you will bring your experience in the premium wine & spirits,
You have shown good skills in structured selling, presentation, communication, negotiation, good planning, administration and time management and organization skills,
You are self-motivated, have commercial acumen.
