The Brand Ambassador, Louis XIII position is focused on creating key account development across a core group of focused on and off premise accounts in major markets (Ontario, Quebec, British Colombia and Alberta) with a focus on Toronto. The Brand Ambassador, Louis XIII will be responsible for educating, business development for on and off premise accounts, and merchandising the Louis XIII, brand. The Brand Ambassador will make these brands more visible, talked about and requested as a must-have luxury item among these individuals and their peers. They will be responsible for increasing the visibility of and desire for the brands with clients who have a flair for conspicuous consumption, connection and/or connoisseurship, including financiers, entrepreneurs, fashionistas, socialites, athletes, musicians, realtors, restaurateurs, and key trade influencers.

 

Preferred candidates will speak Mandarin, French, and English.

 

Key Brand Ambassador Objectives:

  • Development of a network of key trade contacts to support and drive the brands (sales staff, spirits experts, etc)
  • Work closely with PCD and Distributor team to build the Brands
  • Increase the knowledge & recommendation of the Brand through trade focused training programs
  • Engage and educate clients through the implementation of brand initiatives

 

KEY ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT – Target and develop a core group of key accounts across luxury on and off-premise channels in major markets within the region. Brand Ambassador will ensure availability, enhanced visibility, menu listing, advocacy, and velocity in key accounts in accordance with brand standards and objectives. Work with local PCD, dedicated RC team within distributor and distributor network to achieve fiscal year volume goals.

 

CLIENT NETWORKING – Use networking ability and connections to infiltrate target client groups to make our brands an essential ritual of a luxury lifestyle. For example: for the finance industry, make our brands the de-facto deal closer celebration; for fashion and entertainment, make the brands the de-facto toast after a successful event; for all entertainers/socialites become the drink of choice for reconnecting with friends and for toasting a new relationship, etc. The ambassador will also identify and leverage current LOUIS XIII aficionados in the newly defined targeted client groups that Project Phoenix identifies. This networking should take place as sampling and socializing via private clubs, charity events, and/or on-premise accounts that service the targets.

 

EVENT MANAGEMENT – Create and execute events that will showcase our brands for the target clients. Events will include intimate dinners or cocktails parties that feature moments and are arranged through clients.  The events may also include activities where our brands can be a part of a cross promotional/cross-marketing opportunity, arranged through business/corporate contacts.

Job Responsibilities:

Trade Engagement – Drive the relationship with our top on/off-premise accounts

  • Organize and conduct staff trainings
  • Identify opportunities to develop and execute in- account brand educational events
  • Manage communication and sell in and relevant programming
  • Build a network of key influencers and maintain regular contact to ensure effective communication and relationship building.

 

Distributor / Field Support – Provide education and sales support for the Distributor and RC dedicated team

  • Conduct brand specific trainings for the distributor sales force in key markets
  • Support Blitz’s, work-withs, and distribution drives in key markets
  • Actively sell-in the brands to close distribution gaps by working closely with the Distributors and Area Managers to identify opportunities.
  • Execute internal brand trainings for RC Canada

 

Client Engagement – Engage Clients through brand building activations

  • Coordinate and execute client focused educational events (In-Store)
  • Build a Client data base of brand enthusiasts
  • Identify prominent Luxury organizations in key markets – build relationships and execute educational events with members

 

PR / Digital – At the request of the PR / Brand teams, represent the brands at high visibility events and Support the Canadian and Global digital platforms

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor and formally report on competitors’ activities, key tools and success stories.
  • Submit all reports, requests and correspondence within agreed time frame.
  • Ensure relevant customer/Client information is fed back to the line manager and Brand/Area Manager.
  • Attend and contribute to Brand and Marketing meetings as required.
  • Be responsible for company equipment and tools in their possession
  • Work within established standards of performance and budgetary guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and attend necessary trainings.
  • Travel to the markets to ensure that the Brand plans are effectively implemented in all channels.
  • Work closely with the International Brand Ambassadors and other members of the Brand team to ensure that the Brand objectives are realized.
  • Maintain data collection / CRM program (Trade & Client)
  • Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Profil recherché

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An engaging personality with entrepreneurial drive
  • 3-5+ years of related work experience desired
  • Impact and Conviction – shared passions and philosophy
  • High energy, progressive, free thinker with the ability to function autonomously
  • Excellent personal presentation and communication skills in all media, across a range of group sizes and to audiences of differing levels of knowledge and understanding.  Fluent English required.
  • Knowledge of the category and the company’s products in terms of history, key selling points etc.
  • Good commercial awareness and selling techniques/skills.  Sales and marketing knowledge a plus
  • Digitally active
  • Familiar with luxury Client brands and marketing
  • Proven ability to utilize Client insights to drive brand essence and positioning
  • Mixology experience a plus
  • This position requires extensive travel – Flexible schedule/Non- standard hours to meet travel requirements of 50%, two thirds of which will be overnight travel. May include weekend hours.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
