Reporting to the General Manager, Malaysia, the successful candidate will manage and accelerate the performance of our existing business in the Klang Valley and secondary towns as well as seek, develop and realise new business development opportunities via the various channels in the above area.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of wholesalers in the Central region/Klang Valley including, responsibilities for collection of payments, forecasting orders and executing of joint promotional plans.
- Manage relationships and seek opportunities at suitable Key On-trade outlet including managing outlet performances vs expectations, developing promotional plans and ensuring appropriate levels of brand visibility.
- Continue to seek and expand distribution for Chinese Independent Retailers in Klang Valley and secondary cities/towns.
- Organising consumer dinners to drive brand awareness and generate sales opportunities
- Recruit direct client to promote key brands like LXIII, RM and PHD Malts
- Prepare regular updates on best practice, competitor intelligence and local market conditions
Profil recherché
Qualifications, Experience and Competency
- Post secondary school education at a minimum with a Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in business development/sales role, preferably in the alcoholic spirits industry.
- Knowledge in spirits markets, brand specifications, competitor product and consumer trends are preferred
- Desire to succeed in highly competitive and dynamic environment.
- Has at least 5 years’ commercial experience working in the consumer goods environment.
- Pro-active team player, who is self-motivated, able to work independently and willing to accept challenges.
- Able to manage stakeholders and prioritise effectively.
- Possess an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
