Cointreau International Brand Manager

The Cointreau International Brand Manager contributes to the global brand’s strategy elaboration.

He/She develops and deploys the brand’s fundamental assets, innovations and product portfolio and their activations.

KEY ACTIVITES:

1/  MARKET & CONSUMER ANALYSIS

  • Provide market studies and competitive reviews in line with strategic topics for the brand.
  • Identify key consumer insights, needgaps or trends that could be relevant for the brand to address.
  • Be in a constant competitive or trend watch to generate new ideas, propositions that nourish the brand.
  • Lead, in collaboration with CMI, the proper studies needed to build long term brand strategy (quals, consumer tests, pack tests, shelf tests, “fond de marque”, campaign pre /post tests…) and validate ideas to concepts with high business potential.

2/ NEW PROJECT ELABORATION

  • Build a solid and relevant launch plan, with anticipation, in order to fuel brand’s growth and objectives.
  • Define new, different and better innovation concepts and ideas that will answer brand’s growth plan and objectives.
  • Brief creative packaging agencies with aspirational and ambitious briefs.
  • Embark and engage countries to brand plan.

3/ LEAD NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

  • Lead all steps of product development and innovation projects in collaboration with Angers R&D team : elaborate liquid and packaging brief, ensure motivation and federation in a global objective, challenge propositions and COGS, provide visibility (market adhesion, consumer tests feedbacks), ensure coordination and follow up to meet the MAD deadline.
  • Implement and guarantee NPD process roll out

4/ PARTICIPATE TO BRAND PLATFORM MAKING

  • Agency briefs, follow up, brand platform formalization
  • Participate in visual Brand’s codeur (logo, colors, shapes) definition, communication charter and ensure their consistency throughout projects

5/ BUILD BRAND ACTIVATIONS PROJECTS

  • In collaboration with business dev team, communication and digital team, imagine and coordinate 360 activation plan linked to brand campaign or innovation launches.
  • Work hand in hand with communication team on asset production
  • Lead agency briefs and creative process.

6/ MARKET  COORDINATION

  • Participate and input, in collaboration with Business development team, to more operational projects such as merchandising guidelines, on-trade specific programms, limited editions, POS portfolio management.
  • Help building Brand’s budget in line with market’s ambitions
  • Support market in their local adaptations or developments. Become the sponsor of projects and NPD in markets

Profil recherché

MUST HAVE:

  • Master in Marketing/communication/digital or business school
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in operational marketin or development marketing
  • Fluent English, autonomy, leadership, rigor, versatility, good interpersonal skills, dynamism, very strong creativity, open mindness and curiosity
  • Passionate about marketing, product innovation, communication, publicity .
  • Strong aesthetic eye
  • Management of cross-functional / data driven projects / result driven

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experienced in liquor & spirit/ cocktails/ luxury sector
  • Used to social media management tools (Sprinklr/Synthesio)
  • Familiar with analytical tool such as GA/Data studio
  • Managed a brand social media page and content creation
