As you will be in charge of the financial control and the reporting for Belgium / Luxembourg/ The Netherlands, you will be the key business partner to the Managing Director in financial, commercial and strategic decisions as member of the cluster management team.
Business Partnership / leadership: Be a strong business partner to commercial, develop close relationship with stakeholders.
-Influence and challenge business assumptions and decisions (forecasting, pricing, A&P, promotional spend).
-Lead GtN optimization, commercial excellence, RTM and ad hoc projects sponsored by the BENELUX Cluster and EMEA.
-Analyze commercial performance, drive advertising & promotion investments, build and maintain BMU value chains, determine & influence key values drivers. (Allocations, pricing, gross margin analysis, product and customer mix analysis)
-Anticipate and identify R&O and propose corrective actions to ensure the group achieves expected growth and profitability.
-Manage directly one Jr Financial Controller and indirectly oversee the operations of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and GL Accounting performed at Shared Service Center by three Accounting professionals.
Business and Financial planning and controlling
-Manage & implement the planning activities ( 3Y Budget, Rolling Latest Estimate, R&O, P&L landing) and monthly closing as per Group and Regional guidelines.
-Design and implement new tools and processes, optimize and automate.
-Support order-to-cash processes (invoicing, logistics, credit management).
Compliance and Reporting Ensure full compliance with group’s standards and local regulations
-Contribute to the respect & improvement of internal control practices & implementation of internal audit action plan.
-Finance Supervisor of Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands legal entities, with the support of EMEA Accounting, Reporting and Tax.
-Report data to relevant Benelux authorities (Fostplus, Valorlux, Data Intellectica, Vali-pac, etc…)
