About the job

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the successful candidate will develop the brand building strategy, build and execute the plan for the portfolio in Malaysia (excluding LOUIS XIII).

Responsibilities

  • Keep abreast of the latest market trend and client insights and integrate insights to chart marketing strategy so as to accelerate growth;
  • Evaluate, forecast and develop key marketing goals that facilitates the business performance;
  • Analyze and understand local business performance, risk and opportunities;
  • Develop strategic recommendation for the portfolio (brand prioritization, channel approach, Above-the-line (ATL) and Below the line (BTL) activations;
  • On/Off premise channel strategy – help develop strategies across channel segments to create consumer and trade pull. Build brand desirability and positioning;
  • Build ATL and BTL initiatives to recruit and engage the relevant client target;
  • Work closely with regional marketing team to bring to life brand platforms and build local relevant plans;
  • Establish and cultivate a strong relationship with the sales team, considering their commercial input for all programs and activations;
  • Champion e-retail projects to build brand image and accelerate business in this channel;
  • Measure and evaluate success of programs, sharing best practices for future iterations;
  • Managing resources and optimize A&P budget and spends in the most efficient manner with constant measurement of returns of investments.
  • Manage and develop the Assistant brand manager.

Profil recherché

The successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing / related discipline or equivalent experience;
  • Desire to succeed in a highly competitive and dynamic environment;
  • Minimum 5 years’ of marketing experience working in the consumer goods/ lifestyle/luxury/spirits and wine industry;
  • Pro-active team player, someone who is agile, self-motivated, able to work independently;
  • Able to manage stakeholders (sales/finance, local markets, local and regional teams, agencies etc) and prioritise effectively;
  • Possess a creative and entrepreneurial mindset with commercial acumen;
  • Good presentation skill is a must and able to motivate a team behind him/her;
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
